The ASKANIA ELLY BEINHORN is a tribute to Elly Beinhorn, a heroine of aviation. Elly Beinhorn broke many extraordinary sporting records in the 1930s. At the age of 23 she flew to the Sahara on her own, at the age of 24 she circumnavigated the world. The ASKANIA onboard instruments were on-board of her plane.

The case of the ASKANIA ELLY BEINHORN is made exclusively of stainless steel 316L. The steel, which is also used in aviation and surgery, is distinguished by corrosion-resistance, resilience and extreme hardness. Ultra-hard and scratch-resistant sapphire glass is used to protect the dial.
