Taifun 5682
An airplane, a commitment. Many records were set with the Messerschmitt Bf 108 named “Taifun” by Elly Beinhorn. Also on board: the ASKANIA timepieces. Dial
The dial of the ASKANIA TAIFUN is based on the original timepiece of the Bf 108 and impresses with its functionality. For optimal readability, the luminescent hands and Arabic numerals stand out on the classic black dial. To use the time measurement function, the TAIFUN is equipped with three white totalizers, on which timed tenths of seconds and hours can be read with high accuracy.
Case
The case of the TAIFUN is made exclusively of specially hardened stainless steel 316L , offering an anti-magnetic protection of up to 80,000 A/m. The steel, which is also used in aviation and surgery, is distinguished by corrosion-resistance, resilience and extreme hardness. This guarantees lifetime durability.
Ultra-hard and scratch-resistant sapphire glass is used to protect the dial.

The breathable leather strap excels with its high-quality design, impressive workmanship and unparalleled comfort. The strap uses the classic pin buckle made of high-strength stainless steel.
ASKANIA KALIBER 2064
The movement is based on a completely revised ETA 2824 movement, which rests on 25 rubies. This caliber is a mechanical self-winding movement. The ASKANIA 2064 operates in a balance of 4 Hz (28800 A/h per hour) and is therefore absolutely precise, robust and accurate.
